ReplyDeleteYou're right. Grass can be very sharp! Once, I cut open my hand on a blade of swamp grass. Fortunately, backyard and park grass is much tamer. Even the park variety is not friendly to balloons, though, and all of the colourful critters need to Keep Off The Grass.
Children find it hard to believe that the pleasant, green carpet is actually a threat to their present happiness. So do I, but there it is.
